Reiki is a Japanese word meaning universal life force.

In a Reiki season, the client stays fully clothed and the practitioner is a conduit for universal energy (chi). A gentle form of body work, where specific moves are performed over muscles and connective tissue. The move is a trigger picked up by the nervous system sending messages deep into the body, retrieving cellular memory to relax and balance the body. This technique addresses not only the musculoskeletal framework, but also the fascia (connective tissue), nerves and internal organs.
The body’s integrated response improves circulation and lymphatic drainage and aids in assimilation of nutrients and the elimination of toxins.

Cupping refers to the ancient practice performed by the Egyptians and the Chinese where a cup is applied to the skin with various heat or suction to draw blood to the surface. Cupping is used for pain relief, softening scar tissue, releasing muscle tension, releasing and draining excess fluid and toxins, and improving blood circulation. It is a very common practice among athletes and is considered an effective treatment to increase motion and soothe sore and tired muscles. The increased blood flow to the treated areas helps to promote muscle healing.
Kelly, Tracy, Rex and Ivana provide cupping services.

Massage on High has been offering massages in Kyneton since 2006. We expanded our business in 2017 to be a multi-modality which now includes a Bowen Therapist, two Naturopaths, a Reiki Therapist and seven Massage Therapists who work seven days a week with their own unique specialties and touch.
I became interested in natural medicine in 2007 and decided to commit my life in pursuing an education and a career to helping people to nurture their innate capacity to self heal. I finished my Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) in 2014, while at the same time introducing 3 little baby boys into the world. Henceforth, I have had ample experience in treating children holistically to optimise their health and development. My passion for future study and pursuit is Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and mental illness. I feel this is an area of growing concern and appreciate the developmental approach of studies and treatment proposals in this otherwise taboo subject. I have completed a Diploma in Remedial Massage after obtaining a Certificate IV in Swedish Massage in 2010. Since then I have gained experience working at retreats and holistic clinics. I am currently studying a course in dry needling and should be completed in September 2020.
As a Remedial Massage and Bowen Therapist my approach is to offer a treatment that is specific to each individuals needs based on whether they are presenting with a musculoskeletal condition or simply for relaxation.
My knowledge in Remedial massage and Bowen therapy has taught me to identify the underlying issues that contribute to different acute and chronic conditions and how to resolve them working with specific techniques.
As the human body, including our muscles and organs, are completely surrounded by connective tissue, I believe it is important to balance our body by shifting our fascia and muscles which aids in the healing of our muscular ailments and releases muscle tension. I work with Bowen therapy and Myo-fascial cupping to aid in the re-alignment of our connective tissue.
I believe everyone is an individual and my aim is to help you tailor treatment to your specific requirements. I am here to work with you to identify and educate you on your presenting conditions.
I also believe the importance of stress and anxiety relief. My treatments focus on relieving muscle tension and improving functionality, together with relaxation and stress management. I have had previous experience in a clinic in the CBD, mobile massage, and worked in Altona. I specialise in ultra deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.

Rex is a remedial massage therapist whose enthusiasm for health and wellbeing is infectious. He has a kind manner and is dedicated to the healing art of massage therapy.
After 25 years of developing policy for disadvantaged people to gain employment Rex needed time to heal and regenerate. He did this by spending time in Byron Bay, where he learnt to reconnect his mind, body and spirit. In fact the local indigenous Bandjalung and Arakwal people have had a long tradition of healing and birth there. It was also in Byron Bay that gave birth to Rex’s ambitions to heal with massage.
Rex brings an empathy and love of people into the gentle art of massage through relaxation, deep tissue, remedial and sports massage techniques.
“I aim to channel all my experiences and knowledge into my practice in order to heal and foster wellness”.

which she includes in her Therapeutic Massage treatments. Ivana works with each and every patient to their individual needs and conditions. Emphasis has been put on restoring their own healing potential.
As a recent graduate from a diploma in remedial massage, I am very keen to start applying these newly acquired skills to my massage practice at Massage on High. I have been teaching yoga for ten years and am also a qualified yoga teacher, focusing mainly on the style of yin yoga.My massage practice is unique in that it interweaves some of the stretching techniques of yin and is informed by yogic philosophy. As such, relaxation and breathing techniques feature strongly. My focus is on postural alignment to allow you to carry yourself with grace and ease in your everyday life and work. My work as a massage therapist at Hepburn Springs has provided me with some valuable insights into some different massage and relaxation techniques. I am passionate about ongoing learning and always grasp every opportunity to deepen my learning of massage techniques in order to inform a quality, ever evolving practise. Stretching, muscle manipulation, extending range of muscular movement, therapeutic manipulation and deep tissue massage all comprise part of my unique massage tool kit. I also apply rotation of muscular triggers, isolation of muscular-skeletal areas and targeted manipulation of triggers inhibiting functionality in work and leisure time, in order to heighten your quality of life and inject ease into your daily routine. I take the time to really listen to my clients’ specific needs in order to assist them in achieving their goals and improve their range of movements and flexibility, thus contributing directly to ameliorating flexibility and quality of life. I offer the highest standard of care through my mindful approach towards client education of muscle group connections and prevention of further injury to affected areas. I also instruct my clients in terms of maintaining problem areas in a relaxed, pain free state. I pass on tips and skills surrounding the use of breath when isolating muscle groups, manipulating triggers and anatomy and physiology. I prioritise self-care and worth both in my own, and my clients’ lives.
I interpret my work with my clients as a partnership and when beneficial, I pair up with other health professionals in order to create a treatment plan tailored to the client’s individual needs. Reconnecting to your body through self-care and self-love is my main priority. It is my passion, and my honor, to support all my massage clients to stand tall and proud in their lives.
I obtained my Integrated Massage Therapists Certificate in 2003 and upgraded to my Remedial Massage Diploma in 2008. I operated my own clinic from 2003 until 2017 here in Kyneton and I am now excited to be joining the Team at MOH.
I specialize in deep tissue massage, Trigger Point Therapy, sport recovery massage & also pregnancy massage. I work with my clients to identify areas of concern and develop a treatment plan specific to each individuals needs.
I believe in the healing nature of massage for both the body & mind. I am a member of the Massage & Myotherpay Association.

Hello, I am Nadine. I have a very nurturing touch and whole heartedly believe in the importance, and success, regular massage can bring to enrich out lives. Massage aims to relax a person physically, emotionally and mentally. It allows space and time for a person to pause and connect back, with themselves, and to their breath. It promotes the body’s natural healing abilities to ‘turn on’.
We live in a busy time and are often encouraged by outside factors to believe that our “busyness” makes us good. I disagree, allow me to remind you who you are by re-connecting with your breath, with yourself, here on my table.
From Relaxation to Remedial to Deep Tissue, whatever your body, mind and spirit need right now, is where I will meet you.
I am a fully qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and I love what I do.
